Rules about heels? ’18/12/2015′
There are a lot of different styles and ofcourse a lot off different women. But the oldest rule is to not wear heels when your man is shorter than you are. But is that true? I interviewed a long and small woman this time and she motivated me a lot. I’m not a long person, just 1.55m but when I interviewed her she gave me a lot motivation about other things in life that we have to struggle for!
Are you curious about it? Read her interview!
What do you like to wear most? And why?
Black clothes, I prefer in layers. I wear like 100 layers of clothing in the winter. I wear my long black coat and vest almost everyday. I bought my first pair of Dr. Martens 5 years ago, and I wear them almost everyday. I had to buy new ones not so long ago, because of holes. I chose Dr. Martens with a heel.
I want to be different in perspective of other people since I was young. Someone people will remember. Someone who walks in to a room and let people see her. When I was younger I chose extreme clothing, just to be different. I tried and experimented a lot of different styles. I still don’t have a own style yet, it goes all the way. But I appreciate that now.
I had the luck to be born long and slim. Shopping for clothes isn’t that difficult because of this and it fits mostly fine. I wear a lot of high waisted pants and skirts, because my hips come out a bit. I like to wear heels as well, my slim legs come out better this way. I’m longer than most of my friends and boyfriend when I wear heels though. But I don’t really care, why can’t I be longer than he is? I’m getting tired about the rules the society creates about what should and shouldn’t be done about appearance. I believe that God made me the way he wanted me to be, even with my clothing choices. I want to be how God intended me to be. So I try to be myself, in every way I do.
I also wear a lot of make up to bring out my best points and because I really like it. It’s something I’m doing for a long time now.
There aren’t really things I pay a lot of attention to. The only thing I always try to do is to try and wear something I find myself sexy in, self conscious. So everytime I look in the mirror or make a picture I’ll think, yes, that’ll do nicely. My tips are to find your own style, find something you feel confident in. Do some research about it. But mostly, do what you want, and please never give a shit about what other people find.
Peronally I think the same as Lotte and if you feel comfortable in heels, just wear it. There are a lot of different and lovable heels! Think about Valentino, Jimmy Choo, Chanel, Louboutin, Isabel Marant, Givenchy etc. Wear it girls, because God give use the legs for it!
