70’s, 80’s, 90’s! ’21/03/2016′

These are by far one of the most fun years to have existed! One of the reasons is because of the ‘flower power’ which was popular in these years!
My dad is a person who lived in these times and as many of you already know, a respected breakdancer. He is a reason why I grew up with the fashion of these days. Mainly the 90s style! Fortunately the fashion grows, but it’s sad that we forget all about the old fashion styles! The items which are returning will be discussed after the interview!

This time I interviewed Raj. Check out his interview.

What do you like to wear most? And why?

I like to wear light, pastel coloured, basic tones in clothing. Items of clothing that are light in weight which provide the best manoeuvrability.
They have to be near enough tailor fitted to match my body structure as I am of medium build so I don’t look slim nor do I look bigger than what I am.

How do you combine your clothes to your body?

Reasons for this are as follow: a persons individual style is based on personality and years of experience of failures and successes when it comes to making your own outfit look good and on point.

What are the points you pay a lot of attention to? And also, what would you recommend the readers?

It’s key to understand what body type you are when purchasing new clothes or wearing clothes in general so please do some research on yourself and find out what suits you best.

Mostly I pay attention to the little details for example the lines and structure of certain types of clothing i.e overcoats, trousers and jackets.
I advise the readers to pay attention to making outfits and style simple but effective.

What is the biggest mistake you definitely shouldn’t make? (It definitely won’t fit your body)

The biggest mistake one shouldn’t do in my opinion is to oversize all their clothing, things that don’t flatter or compliment your body / figure. As I see some men wear trousers that are too long for them, and jumpers and shirts which make them look as if they’re drowning in their clothes. Always make sure you wear things that are more fitted to your body but not too fitted so that you cant wear it again because you’ve put weight on or lost weight. Although in a few exceptions with coats and overcoats.
Also to never wear colours that are brighter than the sun. For example florescent colours, things that scream out 70’s and early 80’s.

– Remember fashion fades, style lives forever.

Thanks for your interview Raj !

Back to the “70’s, 80’s, 90’s!”
The ray-ban sunglasses are the most populair items that are coming back.
But also bomberjacks and the pants with a trouser leg are coming back! We love to wear bomberjacks (khaki, nude, and black colored bomberjacks) but don’t forget it’s an item from the past. The same goes with the pants with wide trouser legs!
MIU MIU and DIOR love to design round and colorful sunglasses, and don’t forget that’s also an item from the past!

All these items are coming back and if you know more items, or don’t know how to make a combination with an item let me know: I will help you!

Love, Seylan Aslan X
